MAT-TUNER mAT-600A 1.8-500MHz 600W SSB High Power Universal Automatic Antenna Tuner DC12-14V for Shortwave Radios
Description:
– The mAT-600A is a universal high-power automatic antenna tuner compatible with nearly all transceivers and linear amplifiers. It supports a maximum RF power of 600 watts (SSB) and operates across a frequency range of 1.8-54MHz. Featuring an extremely simple operation, the tuner’s front panel contains just one button and three indicator lights.
– The unit is constructed with a full aluminum enclosure and CNC-machined panel, combining an aesthetically pleasing rugged design with relatively lightweight portability.
Features:
– Universal antenna tuner, no need to connect a dedicated data cable, supports most shortwave radio stations.
– The maximum achievable RF power is 600W (SSB). The tuning power of antenna tuner is 5-15W.
– Covering the amateur frequency range of 1.8MHz to 50MHz.
– There is only one tuning key [TUNE] in front of the antenna tuner. When the radio is in the appropriate tuning state for transmission, press and hold the tuning key for 1 second to start tuning.

Tuning Operation Steps:
1. Set the radio station to the desired frequency, transmit power to 10W, and mode to one of CW, FM, FSK, or RTTY.
2. If you are using a linear amplifier, please switch it to the pass through state and stop the amplification function.
3. Press and hold the PTT button on the radio receiver (CW mode uses electric keys to transmit), allowing the radio to send a stable carrier wave to the antenna tuner.
4. Press and hold the [TUNE] button for 1 second before releasing it to start tuning. The “TUNING” indicator light on the front panel will light up, and during the tuning process, the tuning will make a loud noise.
5. When the “TUNING” indicator light goes out and the antenna tuner no longer makes any sound, it indicates that the antenna tuner tuning is complete. If the “ONLINE” indicator light is on, it indicates that the tuning of the tuner is successful, and if it is off, it indicates that the tuning of the tuner has failed.
6. If the tuning is successful, please restore the power and mode of the radio to the settings you need. If you are using a linear amplifier, you can set it to the amplification state and you can transmit normally.
7. If you change the operating frequency of the radio, please repeat steps 1-6 before the first transmission.
